Welcome to SAW.taxi. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2. The Data We Collect About You

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

  • Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
  • Contact Data: includes billing address, email address, and telephone numbers (such as WhatsApp).
  • Transaction Data: includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
  • Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you (e.g., providing your airport transfer).
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

5. Website Analytics

We measure how this website is used with Rybbit, an analytics tool we run ourselves on our own server. Your browsing data is not sent to a third-party analytics company: it is collected at analytics.saw.taxi, which is our own infrastructure.

What it records is your IP address, the pages you visit and in what order, the site or search engine that sent you, and your device, browser and language. Your approximate location — usually the country and city — is derived from the IP address. It may also record session replays: a reconstruction of how a page was scrolled and clicked, which we use to find layout and booking problems.

6. Google Tag Manager and Google Ads

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags on this site, and Google Ads to advertise our transfer service. Where you reach this site from one of our advertisements, these tools let us see that the visit led to an enquiry — for example, that someone clicked through to WhatsApp — so that we can tell which advertisements are worth paying for.

For this purpose Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and details of your visit, and may combine that with data it holds about you from other websites and services. Google processes this data as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy. If you would prefer not to be measured this way, you can block these requests with a browser setting or extension; nothing on this site stops working if you do.

7. WhatsApp

Booking on this site happens through WhatsApp. When you use any Book or Get a Price button, we open WhatsApp with a message already written for you; nothing is sent until you press send yourself.

Once you do, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is handled by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours. We see your WhatsApp phone number, your profile name if you have set one, and whatever you tell us about your journey. We keep those messages so that we can arrange and honour your booking, and refer to them if a question arises afterwards.
